The function that is frequently used is right clicked with the mouse and "Add to Favourites" is selected. Also, if the "Favourites" menu is wanted to come first on the menu buttons, from Miscellaneous \ User Settings \ Appearance, "Favourite buttons on the top" option should be marked.
